When Belief Turns Your Life Around | Read More
Hey guys, here I am once again. Today's topic might seem somewhat counterintuitive because it's about belief. Belief is a complex subject, and it would be completely wrong of me to try to define it, because it's something that cannot truly be defined—but I'll do my best to explain.
what is Belief?
Belief can be considered a medium of complete flow or total acceptance. Some people might even say that belief is a form of surrender—and while that's partially true, it's not the whole picture. It's obvious that sometimes you can't fight the sea waves; the more you resist, the quicker you drown. At times, it's wiser to go with the flow.
However, on the flip side, belief doesn't just appear out of nowhere—and it shouldn't. Belief is a process. First, you notice something. Then, you're drawn to it. You want to get closer, you start to analyze it, and then you decide whether or not to trust it—be it a name, a place, an animal, a thing, or a person. And once that trust begins to grow, you plant a seed called belief.
What are Believers like? what do they get ? or simply the pros and cons of believing?
Well, believers are, after all, just humans—and like all humans, they are also non-believers at times. But let me tell you something: believing is a primal emotion within us.
Some people might say, 'We don’t sit around waiting for God to help us.' Well, I’m not talking specifically about God here. We believe in many different ways, every single day. A father might believe in his daughter or son. A coach might believe in their players. A devotee might believe that someone is watching over them. And a ‘Baghbaan’-watching parent will probably believe they're headed straight to an old age home. 😂😂
Believing is primordial. It’s a subconscious act we perform every moment—without even realizing it.
Well, when talking about the pros and cons of belief, one thing is clear: sometimes, we can go a bit overboard with it. Belief is like a journey to a mysterious island—one that we visit from time to time. Sometimes, we find what we desire there; sometimes, we don't.
But where do we overdo it?
Beliefs are like buildings—old ones sometimes need to fall for better ones to rise. But often, we cling even more tightly to our collapsing beliefs because we think everything depends on them. Let me tell you something: you created your beliefs, and you can create new ones. It's a power each one of us holds. So start building—and don’t be afraid of falling.
I hope I managed to spark a new corner of thought in your mind. My aim is to make you reflect on feelings you might usually overlook.
And as always, it’s been a pleasure writing for you all. 😘😘
